Sling Puck Challenge @IMTS Student Summit

The wait is over! We are happy to announce the first GennFlex Robotic Sling Puck Challenge at the SmartForce Student Summit.

Robotic Sling Puck is a 2-player (Robot-vs-Robot or Robot-vs-Human) fast-paced tabletop game, similar to air hockey. The goal is to clear your board of five pucks by launching them to your opponent’s side, while your opponent tries to clear theirs at the same time.

Use the elastic sling to launch your puck into the hole right in the middle of the board. The trick is you are not allowed to remove pucks off the board. Everything must stay on the board to count.

No one robot or human was able to unseat our Gakuto from his Sling Puck Throne! But we do have a challenger now!

Meet Ani, an ambitious robot from the Yaskawa Motoman team that is coming to challenge our Gakuto right there at the IMTS show. Be there on Wednesday 10 am to witness this historic event!

Do you have a robot and want to challenge Gakuto?

If so, plan well and get ready! This video from our team will give you some idea of what it takes to beat Gakuto in his favorite Sling Puck game.

More information, a complete rule set, and the competition sign-up form can be found here.

We look forward to this challenge and to celebrating the new king together with you!

Join us on Wednesday, September 14th, at 10 am and expect to witness an intense battle. And to top it off, we will be offering some nice giveaways and prizes to those of you who come to the Challenge.
