The flexibility of the design allows using the EDU-SYS-1-YA11 at all levels of training complexity, from introductory to advanced. The system comes in a standard base package that can quickly adapt to your unique curriculum requirements.

The working surface is modular to accommodate different robot and accessory positions.
- Component Level Modularity
Optional plug-n-play modules, such as 2D/3D vision cameras, conveyors, rotaries, and linear positioners, allow you to extend the base functionality as needed.

The system operates as a stand-alone unit and, coupled with other GennFlex training modules, creates manufacturing cells or mini-factory setups on the fly. This feature allows you to demonstrate real-world production flow, reproduce complete production cycles from raw material processing to final product packaging.
- Standards-based robust Construction
The lightweight yet robust extruded aluminum cart is equipped with a suite of industrial-grade teaching aids to meet the requirements of secondary and post-secondary educational programs. The cart dimensions and design are standardized across the entire line of GennFlex training modules, thus ensuring high levels of modularity and interoperability.

The entire system is powered by a standard 110 Volt / 15 Amp power outlet, no special power delivery is required.
- Minimal Footprint
Easily transport the system between the classrooms on the included high-quality lockable castor wheels. The cart is designed to fit through standard 32-inch door openings.

The Yaskawa MotoMini robot offers a payload that is adequate for most labs and training applications. If your intended applications require a higher load capacity or horizontal reach of the robot, we can provide a modified system with larger robot models.

- Safety Laser Scanner
The fenceless design with an integrated laser safety scanner offers 270ᵒ of unobstructed coverage for a safe working zone. When someone enters the safe zone during robot operation, the scanner will instantly stop the robot.
- Reduced Robot Speed
Robot play speed is limited to 25% for safety.
- Emergency Stop Switch
In addition to the integrated safety scanner, there is an emergency stop switch located on the Smart or Standard pendant.
- Light Tower
Immediate indication of process status is a must in any industrial application. The RTM-YAG11 includes a 3-Tier IDEC Light Tower mounted on the back wall of the module.
